Positive Experiences Collective Conference 2025: Context and Theory into Practice Panel

Updated: Jul 31

On June 25th, 2025, we welcomed practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and advocates from across the country to our inaugural Positive Experiences Collective Conference, a milestone moment for the growing Positive Experiences Collective community.

It was a shared space for exploring how to translate the theory of physical literacy into practice. Together, we asked: How do we ensure that every child—regardless of their background—has positive, inclusive experiences of movement that last a lifetime?

The sessions throughout the day were rich with real-world insight, collaboration, and honest reflection. We heard from those working directly with children and young people, who generously shared tools, stories, and strategies that are making a tangible difference on the ground. The collective energy in the room made it clear: change is already happening, and it’s being led by people who care deeply.

For those who couldn’t join us live, we’re pleased to share recordings from the morning below.
